Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Catholic). They came out on top against the Piedra Vista Panthers by a score of 7-4 on Wednesday.

Central Catholic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Piedra Vista, they moved to 10-3 with that defeat, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Coming up, Central Catholic will face off against Glenbrook North at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Piedra Vista, they will take on Sherwood at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sherwood will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Piedra Vista surely won't give up without a fight.
