After a string of four wins, Satsuma's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against the Bayside Academy Admirals, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2021.

Satsuma saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Glen, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Satsuma's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Bayside Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

While Satsuma had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
