Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Patton). They walked away with a 74-64 win over the Draughn Wildcats on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-54 last Friday.

Patton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Draughn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patton will venture away from home to challenge East Rutherford at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Patton is facing East Rutherford at the right time seeing as East Rutherford is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Draughn, they will head out on the road to square off against Mitchell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mitchell knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Draughn likes a good challenge.
