The Armwood Hawks won the last time they faced the Tampa Bay Tech Titans, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Armwood blew past Tampa Bay Tech, posting a 45-18 win on the road. Winning is a bit easier when your three-point shooting is a whole 21% better than the opposition, as Armwood's was.
Among those leading the charge was Aniyah Moreno, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Ankers, who scored six points along with three steals.
Armwood's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for Tampa Bay Tech, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Armwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Lennard at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lennard will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 549th, while Armwood is ranked 195th). As for Tampa Bay Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Bloomingdale at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bloomingdale is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
