Defeat or not, Brooklyn got some senior leadership from Ashlyn Dyson and Olivia Callahan. Dyson scored 13 points along with eight rebounds, while Callahan. scored two points along with ten rebounds. That was a full 59.1% of Brooklyn's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Brooklyn's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Cuyahoga Heights, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brooklyn will take on Bedford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bedford is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they will be playing at home against Lutheran West at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lutheran West is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
