Westminster Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the Alden-Hebron Green Giants as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Westminster Christian got a massive performance out of Sam Dries, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Dries has hit this season. Luke Bartolome was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Westminster Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alden-Hebron struck out seven times.

Westminster Christian pushed their record up to 14-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Alden-Hebron, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Westminster Christian will square off against Aurora Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Alden-Hebron, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ashton-Franklin Center at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
