Having just played yesterday, the Frostproof Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the All Saints' Academy Saints at 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd. One thing working in Frostproof's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Frostproof can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 83-51 victory over Tenoroc. Given Frostproof's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 311th, while Tenoroc is ranked 746th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Sevastian Rosado, who scored 36 points along with nine steals and eight rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Frostproof's points. Another player making a difference was Turral Berry, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, All Saints' Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 46-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of International Community.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Dontravious Bell, who scored 12 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Claudarius Bell, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Frostproof's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for All Saints' Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
Everything came up roses for Frostproof against All Saints' Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 68-41 win. With Frostproof ahead 40-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.
