They put the hurt on Woodville with a sharp 30-8 victory. The result was nothing new for Valley Head, who have now won five matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.
Valley Head was led to victory by Tytan Blevins and Nate Bain. Blevins rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns, while Bain rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Blevins is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played.
Valley Head's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.0 points per game. As for Woodville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.
Valley Head will take on Gaylesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gaylesville is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Woodville, they will head out on the road to face off against Coosa Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coosa Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Woodville in Alabama (Coosa Christian is ranked 174th, while Woodville is ranked 362nd).
