Football Recap: Broken Bow Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Jattairrius Neal and Greydon Howell + How To Watch

Broken Bow and Tuttle squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Broken Bow had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 49-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Savages have suffered since October 25, 2024.

Despite the loss, Broken Bow had strong showings from Greydon Howell, who rushed for 139 yards and one score while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and Jattairrius Neal, who rushed for 110 yards and three TDs. Howell's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 133 rushing yards. Broken Bow also got help from Kalel Flagg, who showed off his sure hands for 86 receiving yards.

Leading Tuttle to victory were Shawn Rounsaville Jr and Cruz Campbell. Rounsaville Jr rushed for 108 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries, while Campbell threw for 199 yards and a pair of TDs on only 18 passes. The dominant performance also gave Campbell a new career-high in rushing yards (51).

Broken Bow's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2. As for Tuttle, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Broken Bow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tuttle, they will face off against Elgin at 7:00 p.m. on the 13th. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Owls have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
