It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Father Capodanno Grunts ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Northwood Temple Academy out 51-48. The win was familiar territory for Father Capodanno who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Julie Attar, who scored 27 points. Emma Klotz was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Father Capodanno's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Father Capodanno has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Scotland Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 12th. Scotland Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 27.6 points per game this season, so Father Capodanno's offense will have their work cut out for them. Northwood Temple Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
