Cathedral Prep had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the McDowell Trojans. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Cathedral Prep's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 16th, while McDowell are ranked 113th).

Cathedral Prep's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-2. As for McDowell, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 12-6 record.
