The Westminster Academy Lions won the last time they faced the Dade Christian Crusaders, and things went their way on Saturday, too. Westminster Academy strolled past Dade Christian with points to spare, taking the contest 74-61. The success made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.
Westminster Academy's win brought them up to 16-8. The loss dropped Dade Christian's record to 10-8.
Westminster Academy has the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Canterbury on Saturday. Westminster Academy has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency. The Crusaders are on the road again on Tuesday and play against Somerset Academy Silver Palms. If the matchup is anything like Dade Christian's 85-71 victory from their previous meeting December of last year, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
