Valor Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Palmer Ridge Bears. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their 15th in a row dating back to last season.
Valor Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Palmer Ridge between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-16.
Bergen Waitman paced Valor Christian's offense, picking up 16 kills. Waitman got some help from Piper McFadden and her 38 assists. Tegan Beuhler controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
