Central Valley scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Gonzaga Prep, 37-35. At the time, the Bullpups were ranked ninth in the state, while the Bears were 37th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Gonzaga Prep, who took down ninth ranked Gonzaga Prep, 37-35.
Shadle Park's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Highlanders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brett Rypien has thrown for 3179 yards and 23 touchdowns this season, while Tanner Pauly has 64 catches for 1110 yards. Cameron Babcock leads the league in rushing with 385 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Rogers takes on North Central. As it stands, the Rams are in 10th, while the Indians are in ninth.
Mead extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Ferris, 34-19. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
