The Fayette Academy Vikings are taking a road trip to take on the Fayette Ware Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Fayette Academy's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
If Fayette Academy beats Fayette Ware with 22 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Vikings put the hurt on First Assembly Christian with a sharp 22-1 win on Friday. That looming 22-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Vikings yet this season.
Leah Culver made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
