This season hasn't been kind to the Green Valley Gators, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. They took a 38-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mater Academy East Las Vegas.
Several Gators players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amelia Rawhouser, who scored 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianessa Vazquez, who scored 14 points.
Green Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Valley will take on Sierra Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mater Academy East Las Vegas' road trip will continue as they head out to face Boulder City at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th.
