The Armwood Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Freedom. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Armwood has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Armwood still got an impressive performance from Talon Mckinnie, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Miles Davis, who scored nine points.
Armwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Freedom, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
Armwood won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against East Bay at 6:30 p.m. on December 13th. Allowing an average of 53.2 points per game, East Bay has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this game. Freedom won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Blake at 6:00 p.m. on December 13th. Blake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully Freedom likes a good challenge.
