The Clyde Fliers lost against the Norwalk Truckers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Clyde fell to Norwalk 56-50. Clyde has not had much luck with Norwalk recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Clyde lost, one person who can't be blamed is Katie Shiets. Despite the final result, she scored 26 points along with five rebounds. The matchup was Shiets' sixth in a row with at least ten points.
Clyde has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Norwalk, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Clyde will head out on the road to face off against Lexington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lexington will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 551st, while Clyde is ranked 214th). Norwalk will be home for the holidays to greet Port Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
