The Oakridge Owls posted their closest win since December 22, 2023 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-42 victory over Fort Worth Country Day. The win made it back-to-back wins for Oakridge.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oakridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rylan Williams, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Williams continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Aaron Greenburg, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Oakridge's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-14. As for Fort Worth Country Day, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10.
Oakridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fort Worth Country Day also has no future games currently scheduled.
