Challis blew past Grace Lutheran 54-20 on the road. That looming 54-20 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Challis yet this season.
It was another big night for Brayden Ollar, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Challis' points. Another player making a difference was Ty Farr, who scored 12 points.
Challis' win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Grace Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Challis will be home for the holidays to greet Alturas Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Grace Lutheran will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Gem at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
