The Merritt Academy Mustangs will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against the Parkway Christian Eagles at 4:30  p.m.
 Last Tuesday, Merritt Academy came up short against Peck  and fell  8-5.
 Meanwhile, Parkway Christian's hitters rose to the challenge against a Faith Christian pitching crew that boasted an average of only 3.75  runs allowed on Saturday. Parkway Christian walked away with  a   10-6  win over Faith Christian. The  victory was nothing new for Parkway Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.
  DJ Quest made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   one  hit. Quest was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Dane Mazek was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Brett Polakowski, who  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while going 2-for-4.
 Merritt Academy has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record  this season. As for Parkway Christian, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record  this season.
 Merritt Academy came up short against Parkway Christian when the teams last played  back in May of 2023, falling  4-1. Can Merritt Academy avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
