Softball Recap: Durand Has No Trouble Against Pecatonica

Durand came out on top against Pecatonica on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive 14-run fourth inning. The Bulldogs blew past the Indians 17-3. Considering the Bulldogs have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Durand and bumps their season record up to 12-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Pecatonica, they dropped their record down to 7-19 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Durand will welcome Eastland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pecatonica, they will challenge Oregon at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
