While Strafford's victory against Miller wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 3-2. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Strafford had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 20-25, 27-25, 25-21, 15-3.

Strafford's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brooklynne Lumley, who had 17 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Lumley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Payten Coulter, who had 19 digs.

Strafford's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-2. As for Miller, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3.
