This season hasn't been kind to the Grand Canyon Phantoms, who are still winless after their sixth match. They were beaten by Pinon 97-25 on Saturday.
Tristan Lambon was Grand Canyon's leading scorer, having posted 11 points.
Arron Alonzo held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
Grand Canyon bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.3 points per game. As for Pinon, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Canyon will challenge Basis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Basis focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday. As for Pinon, they will head out on the road to face off against Greyhills Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
