Andre O'Daniel was his usual excellent self, putting up 36 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. The match was his fourth in a row with at least 26 points. Evan O'Daniel was another key player, scoring 11 points along with six assists and five boards.
Several Monarchs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Deandre Kirkpatrick, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. Kirkpatrick has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Roger Shackelford, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards.
Sherman Oaks CES pushed their record up to 22-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Animo Robinson, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.
