While Bloomfield's victory against Honeoye wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bombers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Bulldogs on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bombers have posted since May 1, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Kyle Dredger, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Rogers, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Bloomfield pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Honeoye, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Red Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Honeoye, they will face off against Naples at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Big Green Machines will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
