Wesclin was the 46-39 winner over Hillsboro when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wesclin Warriors fell just short of the Hillsboro Hiltoppers by a score of 43-41 on Monday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hillsboro to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kearstynn Davis, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 17 boards. Those 17 rebounds gave Davis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatum Christian, who posted nine points.

Wesclin's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Hillsboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Wesclin has already played their next contest, a 32-20 loss against Okawville on the 15th. As for Hillsboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-29 win against North Mac on the 16th.
