Don Soffer Aventura has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Hallandale Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hallandale took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Don Soffer Aventura, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Don Soffer Aventura strolled past the Sharks with points to spare, taking the game 60-45. The victory was just what Don Soffer Aventura needed coming off of a 66-30 loss in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Nimrod Amiel Eilon, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Daniel Amiel Eilon, who scored ten points along with five assists and two steals.
Meanwhile, Hallandale pushed their score all the way to 67 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 78-67 to Saint Andrew's. While losing is never fun, Hallandale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while the Scots are ranked 100th).
Don Soffer Aventura now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Hallandale, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
