Fort Payne waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the New Hope Indians. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2022.

Fort Payne not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept New Hope between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17.

Fort Payne's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for New Hope, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Coming up, Fort Payne will welcome Boaz at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for New Hope, they are taking a road trip to face off against Buckhorn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
