It was a good run, but Vincennes Rivet unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 36-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Evansville Christian Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-50 back in November.

Evansville Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hannah Higgs, who posted 20 points. The dominant performance gave Higgs a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Bella Hall, who earned eight points along with 12 rebounds and five steals.

Vincennes Rivet's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Evansville Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Vincennes Rivet didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-53 win against Monrovia on the 28th. Evansville Christian has also already played their next matchup, a 67-37 loss against Corydon Central on the 27th.
