Bullitt Central lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Fern Creek, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's game. The Cougars put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 11-1 victory on Monday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by ten runs or more this season.
Jordan Powell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bullitt Central has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .451. However, it's not like Moore struggles in that department as they've averaged .505. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Bullitt Central's way against Moore when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Bullitt Central made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
