Berean Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 27.3 points per game this season, so El Dorado Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Berean Christian Academy suffered their closest loss yet this season on January 8th. They fell just short of Lighthouse Christian by a score of 49-46.
Meanwhile, El Dorado Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with a 55-45 win over Varsity Opponent. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for El Dorado Christian considering their 23-point performance the game before.
Breann Reasoner was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 21 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cassie Johnson, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Berean Christian Academy's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4. As for El Dorado Christian, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
Everything came up roses for Berean Christian Academy against El Dorado Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 59-17 victory. With Berean Christian Academy ahead 30-2 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
