Delta had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Monroe Catholic Rams. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 8-2 victory on Wednesday.

Delta's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Monroe Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.
