Carter Daniels' Big Game Leads Mountain Vista over Fruita Monument
Mountain Vista picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Carter Daniels. Daniels was dynamite, making 25 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and snagged an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.
Mountain Vista pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Daniels and Mountain Vista will square off against Rock Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Blais Came Up Big in Mountain Vista's 49-6 Victory
Mountain Vista picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jack Blais. Blais turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 99 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also picking up 47 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Blais is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Rock Canyon on Friday. When Blais last faced the Jaguars back in October of 2023, he rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
