The Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Red Raiders pushed their score all the way to 68 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 87-68 bruising from Wausau West. While losing is never fun, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Wausau West is ranked 95th).

Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Franklin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln likes a good challenge. As for Wausau West, they will head out on the road to face off against D.C. Everest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Wausau West focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
