After a string of six wins, the South Plantation Paladins's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Coral Springs. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points South Plantation has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why South Plantation lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kaiden Francis. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Harry Gelin, who scored 11 points.
South Plantation's loss dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Coral Springs, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.
South Plantation does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Coral Springs will head out on the road to take on Blanche Ely at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
