The Dora Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. The matchup between them and Summersville wasn't particularly close, with Dora falling 59-42. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dora has scored all season.
Summersville was led to victory by Andrew Buschmann and Garrin Greear. Buschmann almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine assists, while Greear dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Greear is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last seven games he's played. Hayden Summers was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Dora's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Summersville, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
Dora will head out on the road to take on Houston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Summersville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eminence at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Summersville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
