The Keenan Raiders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Columbia 75-39 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Keenan has managed all season.
Leading Keenan to victory were Brian Sumpter and Cedric Schofield. Sumpter dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds, while Schofield dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Sumpter hasn't dropped below two blocks for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Marcus Simmons jr, who scored eight points along with four steals and two blocks.
Keenan's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.
Keenan will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Columbia, they will head out on the road to take on Keenan at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Keenan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
