After a string of three wins, The Bloomington Bruins''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 27-14 to San Gorgonio. Bloomington was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as San Gorgonio apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.
Despite the loss, Bloomington still got an impressive performance from Diego Fraembs, who rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Fraembs was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards.
San Gorgonio's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Payton Clark, who threw for 274 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Francisco Morales, who picked up 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for San Gorgonio, their win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-1.
Bloomington will be playing at home against San Bernardino at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Gorgonio, they will head out on the road to face off against Ramona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
