Merric Hunt put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
