South got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kesia Williams out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least 25% of South's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emani Tynes, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for South and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Whetstone, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
South won't have much time to rest: their next game is against East at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. As for Whetstone, they will head out on the road to face off against Northland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
