The La Salle Lancers were the 27-7 winner over the St. Anthony Saints when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. La Salle was dealt a 53-14 defeat at the hands of St. Anthony on Friday. La Salle was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-0.
Although La Salle took the loss, they still got scores from Mauricio Pavon and David Vanden Bosch.
La Salle now has a losing record at 4-5. As for St. Anthony, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
La Salle will head out on the road to face off against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Anthony does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
