After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Butler, Western was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the W.E.B. DuBois Academy Lions 12-10. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Western's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for W.E.B. DuBois Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.

Western has already played their next match (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. W.E.B. DuBois Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
