Leading Plaquemine to victory were Maddison Mitchell and Comora Davis. Mitchell scored 16 points, while Davis scored 20 points. Davis' trending in the right direction, as she's improved his point production for three games straight. Shai Gillis was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Plaquemine's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for McKinley, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Plaquemine will head out on the road to take on Tara at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tara will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 313th, while Plaquemine is ranked 79th). As for McKinley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Feliciana at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Feliciana is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
