Nashville Christian extended the longest winning streak in A District 10 this week by beating Houston County, 21-8. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Eagles.
Clarksville Academy's Jacob Rugen and Clay Goad have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Rugen has thrown for 1087 yards this season, while Goad has 32 catches for 651 yards. Phillip Booker from Nashville Christian leads the league in rushing with 1147 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Eagles take on Jo Byrns. Nashville Christian is currently in first, while the Red Devils are in fourth.
Jo Byrns led A District 10 in scoring this week after putting up 34 points on McEwen.
