The Commerce Tigers lost against the Rabun County Wildcats on January 10th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Commerce was dealt a 81-46 defeat at the hands of Rabun County. Commerce has struggled against Rabun County recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Commerce lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jada Palumbo, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Raven Parks was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Rabun County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
Commerce will head out on the road to challenge Tallulah Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tallulah Falls is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Rabun County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Athens Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
