Freedom and Northampton are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Freedom Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Northampton Konkrete Kids at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Freedom will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 413th, while Northampton is ranked 138th).
Freedom had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 57-51 W over Easton Area on Friday. That 57-51 margin sets a new team best for Freedom this season.
Meanwhile, Northampton waltzed into their game Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 47-40 win over Allentown Central Catholic.
Freedom's record now sits at 2-6. As for Northampton, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
Freedom lost to Northampton on the road by a decisive 63-45 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2021. Can Freedom avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
