The Buchholz Bobcats had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Bartram Trail 37-17. Buchholz's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Leading Buchholz to victory were Myles Graham and Quinton Cutler. Graham rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, while Cutler rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. Cutler's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
Despite the loss, Bartram Trail still got an impressive performance from Riley Trujillo, who threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns.
Buchholz pushed their record up to 13-0 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.29 points. As for Bartram Trail, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.
Buchholz has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Lakeland at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. Lakeland is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Bartram Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
