Mandarin's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Yulee.
The result came thanks to John Brooks's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Makarios Brown, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Cameron Jacobsen also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Mandarin has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Episcopal School of Jacksonville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
