Given Sheboygan Falls' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while Random Lake is ranked 302nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Campbellsport's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 65-30 loss at the hands of Living Word Lutheran.
Sheboygan Falls' victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Campbellsport, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
Sheboygan Falls beat Campbellsport 50-39 in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sheboygan Falls since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
